A proud moment for the Murray’s family! ⚾️

Murray’s owner Tim Murray stepped onto the field at Target Field to throw out the ceremonial first pitch before the Minnesota Twins game in honor of Murray’s 80th year in downtown Minneapolis. A memorable moment for our family and team!

Thank you to the Minnesota Twins for making this such a memorable evening—and congratulations to Tim on a pitch worthy of a Cy Young award 😉

On this day in 1946, Art and Marie Murray opened Murray's Restaurant. Today, we honor them, their son Pat, our wonderful staff, and our treasured guests for their contributions to our success over the past 80 years.

⭐ We're honored to be part of Minnesota dining history.

Murray's Steakhouse has been inducted into the Star Tribune's inaugural 2026 Culinary North Stars Hall of Fame, recognizing restaurants that have made a lasting impact on Minnesota's dining culture.

Since 1946, we've had the privilege of serving generations of guests celebrating life's biggest moments—from anniversaries and birthdays to business dinners and family traditions. This recognition belongs to every guest, team member, and community member who has made Murray's part of their story.

Thank you to the Star Tribune Taste Team for this incredible honor, and thank you to everyone who has supported Murray's throughout the years. We look forward to welcoming guests for many years to come.
