LAST SIP SERMON // Los Magos Sotol
“This one walks the border barefoot”
Not mezcal. Not tequila. Not trying to be either.
Los Magos is sotol — wild, desert-born, and border-bred. Distilled from the Dasylirion plant, not agave, it grows only in the high desert stretch between Chihuahua, Texas, and New Mexico. It’s not in between two countries. It is the in-between.
This isn’t a spirit for tourists. This is for the seekers.
Los Magos tastes like flint, dry sage, and hard truths whispered by wind. It’s the kind of drink you pour when the sun’s gone down but the land is still hot.
Distilled sustainably in Aldama, Chihuahua — this is honest work, bottled. And in a world where every brand is shouting for your attention, this one speaks quietly… and carries a snake.
“Drink not to escape the desert, but to understand it.”
