Monday Makes | Sa****um Vibin’

Today on we made some plant-based greek souvlaki "pitas”.

Why we love it? Everyone in the family can make their own to their liking and spice level. Served with our housemade vegan tzatziki.

How to make the Tzatiki:

Ingredients
½ cucumber, grated
1 cup (240 mL) unsweetened soy yogurt†
2 cloves garlic, crushed
¼ cup (4 g) fresh dill, minced
½ lemon, juiced
1 tsp (5 mL) extra virgin olive oil
¼ tsp salt
⅛ tsp ground black pepper

Directions
1. Using a box grater, grate the cucumber. Drain off the excess liquid by squeezing the grated cucumber firmly with your hands.
2. To a bowl, add the pressed cucumber along with all the other ingredients. Mix, and enjoy!
