"Nothing is permanent, except change"

We are pleased to announce a change in ownership with Origami. Ichi-san decided to pass the torch to our new owner and head sushi chef Leo. We are grateful for this opportunity to be able to serve the community with Japanese food, sushi, and our take on Asian cuisine. We will do our best to continue the legacy that Origami has left for us.

Also, we are now open for lunch and have brought back Happy Hour. Our hours are updated. We look forward to serving you.

📢 Last call for Ichi-San! 📢

We're sending off our beloved founder, head chef and owner of 33 years this weekend, and congratulate him on his retirement! With a heart full of happy tears, we toast this iconic sushi chef of the twin cities in the success of his restaurant and the generations of employees and customers he's impacted with his contagious laugh and insane talent for creating memories through food and charisma 🙌🏽🎉. The Twin Cities will miss you, but are so grateful for your influence on Japanese cuisine in the midwest and teaching so many amazing chefs the "Origami way".

Cheers to 33 years, enjoy your retirement, Ichi-san!
