Today, I am deeply honored to officially become the Honorary Consul of Mongolia to the great State of Minnesota.
Honestly… life is unbelievable sometimes.
Before America even existed, my ancestors rode horseback from the Pacific Ocean to the Mediterranean Sea. And generations later, their descendant now stands here in the United States — carrying both Mongolian roots and the American dream.
Minnesota gave me opportunity.
Mongolia gave me identity.
Most people know me as the sushi guy.
But long before restaurants, I always believed life was about building bridges between people, cultures, and communities.
Today, that mission became official.
This role is not about titles — it is about service, connection, and creating opportunities between Mongolia and Minnesota through culture, education, business, sports, tourism, and friendship.
As Honorary Consul, we have already begun supporting Mongolian studies programs, youth sports, cultural festivals, young professionals, and community connections across America — and this is only the beginning.
To represent the country of my ancestors while serving the state and country that gave me everything… is one of the greatest honors of my life.
From the Eternal Blue Sky…
to the State of Hockey.
What a journey.
And this fall, I look forward to traveling across Minnesota, shaking hands, building friendships, and continuing to strengthen the bridge between our two worlds.
