And just like that, this chapter has come to an end…

There really aren’t enough words to express how grateful we are. To everyone who walked through our doors, shared a meal with us, celebrated with us, came back again and again, or simply showed us kindness along the way thank you.

The love you showed us these last two weeks is something we will never forget. Seeing so many familiar faces come back for one last meal, a hug, or simply to say goodbye made this difficult ending incredibly special. 🫶🏼

And to our crew thank you. These last two weeks were busy, emotional, and exhausting, and you showed up and gave it everything you had. We truly could not have finished this chapter without you.

While this is the end for El Sazón Cocina & Tragos, it is NOT the end of El Sazón. Our story is still going strong.

You can continue to find us at El Sazón Tacos & More in Eagan and Eat Street Crossing, and Xelas by El Sazón in Stillwater. We hope you’ll continue to follow our journey and allow us to keep sharing our food with you.

Thank you for believing in us, supporting our family and our crew, and being part of this chapter.

There’s still time to enjoy your favorites one more time at El Sazón Cocina & Tragos before our final day this Saturday, August 15.

Our Bone-In Short Rib Burrito has been on the menu since day one and has become one of those dishes that feels like a part of our story. If it’s one of your favorites, now is the time to come enjoy it one more time. 🌯

These last few days are bittersweet, but seeing so many familiar faces walk through our doors has meant everything to us. Come eat, say goodbye, and help us celebrate this chapter together.

This Saturday is the final day of service at El Sazón Cocina & Tragos, so come enjoy it one last time and help us say goodbye to this chapter. We would love to see you!

We will be closed for regular service today, Tuesday, August 11.

⚽️ You can find us at Allianz Field tonight Guest chef station for Minnesota United vs. Atlante!

We’ll be back open Wednesday through Saturday — or until we sell out.

Come by and enjoy one last meal with us before we say goodbye to this chapter. 💛 Please keep in mind that as we move through our final days, our menu may be more limited and some of your favorites may sell out.

Today is one of the hardest announcements we’ve ever had to make.

After many sleepless nights and difficult conversations, we’ve made the decision to close El Sazón Cocina & Tragos. Our last day of service will be Saturday, August 15.

When we opened El Sazón Cocina & Tragos, we dreamed of creating a place that brought people together through food, culture, and hospitality. Every plate that left our kitchen carried a piece of our family, our heritage, and our hearts. While this isn’t the ending we had hoped for, we are incredibly proud of what we built and even more grateful for the community that embraced us.

To everyone who walked through our doors thank you. Thank you for celebrating birthdays, anniversaries, and life’s everyday moments with us. Thank you for introducing your friends and family to our food, for your patience as we grew, and for believing in what we were trying to create. Your support has meant more to us than we could ever put into words.

These next two weeks will be emotional, but we hope you’ll stop by one last time. We’d love the chance to cook for you, share a hug, reminisce, and personally thank you for being part of this journey.

Final Day of Service: Saturday, August 15

Hours through August 15:
• Tuesday–Friday: 4:00 PM – Close
• Saturday & Sunday: 11:00 AM – Close

Although this chapter is coming to an end, our journey isn’t. We’d be honored to continue serving you at Xelas in Stillwater and El Sazón Tacos & More in Eagan, and Eat Street Crossing, where many of your favorite dishes will continue to live on.

From the bottom of our hearts, thank you for every meal shared, every kind word, every recommendation, every review, and every bit of support over the years. You gave this little restaurant a life beyond anything we could have imagined, and for that we will be forever grateful.
