Introducing Kate, the manager of Birchbark Bizhiw (Lynx in Ojibwe). Birchbark Bizhiw branched out from Birchbark Books and Native Arts in the Kenwood neighborhood — the online shop focuses on Native titles.

“I hope that those who choose to order online feel like they’ve gotten a small piece of our bookstore, experiencing a human touch and top notch customer service. And, for our events I hope that we provide a space that feels open and welcoming to all, with authors who are excited to share their new books with the world! ( I also bring down the restock for the Little Free Library Shelves in the coffee shop. 😇)”
