We are absolutely thrilled to officially introduce ourselves as the new owners of RePete’s Pizza! We are Scott & Melissa Gordon, and what brought us to this moment has been a lifetime in the making.
We attended Parkersburg South High School where we were high school sweethearts who dated for 10 years before tying the knot. To save up for our wedding, we started our very first food venture right here at the Wood County Fair, selling "Tacos in a Bag" out of a food trailer! From there, we headed to WVU together during the legendary Major Harris era (Let’s go, Mountaineers! 💙💛).
Over the years, we built our careers—Melissa in pharmaceutical sales and digital advertising, and Scott as an industrial engineer, starting out at Ames making non-powered tools and now working at Hino manufacturing trucks. But our love for food and feeding people never went away. For six years, we owned and operated the Gordon Bleu Food Truck, serving up sweet treats and chasing our shared dream of one day owning a brick-and-mortar restaurant.
RePete’s Pizza is the perfect fit for us because we wanted a business that is truly community-driven and family-oriented. The Mineral Wells community is incredibly friendly, welcoming, and filled with neighbors who truly care about neighbors.
Some of you have been asking how different will RePete’s be from Pete’s. Rest assured, we plan to keep a very similar menu! Pete’s offered a robust menu. We plan to start slow and add as we gain experience. We have been chatting with many of you already to find out your absolute favorites so we can keep serving what you love.
We are currently in the process of taking absolutely everything out of the restaurant to give it a deep, thorough cleaning while deciding what goes back in. When we reopen, you will notice a more open layout with a modern industrial vibe—but with that same ole homey, welcoming atmosphere you know and love.
We plan to open in mid July and will be open Tuesday-Saturday 11-9 and Sundays 11-6. Closed Mondays.
Come on in, grab a slice, and say hello once our doors are open! We can't wait to serve you.

There is a storm headed our way!!!! Not a snow storm but a pizza storm. The Mineral Wells Wrestling team is coming in hot offering a large Pepperoni Pizza for $12. You still have time to order. We can bake it for you or we can make a take and bake so you can bake it whenever you want. Pick up anytime between 11am-1:30pm. Cash only!!! Who knows but this could be your last chance to get one of our pizzas. Just message us and we will get you on the list.

The truck arrived and we’ve been busy making dough for tomorrow’s fundraiser with Mineral Wells Wrestling. Large Pepperoni pizza for $12. Messages us or get with someone from the team if you would like to order one. We can also do take and bake so you can bake it at home at your convenience. We’ve had customers freeze them in the past so they could have one of our pizzas whenever they wanted. Can’t wait to see you guys tomorrow!!!!

Well our last day is here and it is so bittersweet. Rusty went in early this morning to start cooking all the grub. I will say that this week has been much more emotional than any of us expected, to include our customers. Literally everyone has been in tears. We have felt such an abundance of love in the last couple weeks and it’s been amazing to hear the ways we have impacted so many.

Tonight we are going to do it up right! We aren’t just doing a dinner buffet but we are also doing the requested Baked Steak AS WELL AS the Hot Honey Chicken Cajun Alfredo - another fave!

Baked steak, Mashed Potatoes, Green Beans and a Hot Roll - $14.99

Hot Honey Chicken Alfredo with Garlic Bread - $12.99

Dinner Buffet 4:00 - 8:00

Also we have some entertainment happening tonight as well. Stu Wajda and possibly another local artist will be present and playing live music for you all evening. He has performed here many times throughout the years and wanted to be a part of our last night with us going out in style.

It is going to be a great last night. Bare with us when things get hectic, as you always do. Tonight, we will be running a restaurant as well as trying to see as many of you as we can. Tonight is about Community and being together. It’s just a bonus that we get to fill our bellies with Rusty’s amazing food too. (You just might see Chelsea back in action with him tonight too!)

Our current and old staff will all be here and look forward to seeing your wonderful faces!
