Join Flatwater Smokers this Memorial Day at the Windmill in Minden starting at 12:00 PM until SOLD OUT!

We’ll be serving our award-winning pulled pork with BBQ beans, chips, and of course the famous Old Lady Dessert Table. 🍖🔥🍰

This weekend, remember to support your local VFW and American Legion chapters. These organizations continue to support veterans, military funerals, local families, youth programs, and our communities every single day.

All profits from this cook go directly back to the team and local veteran support efforts — helping with uniforms, fuel for funeral honors, equipment upgrades for chapters, and continuing traditions that matter.

We appreciate this community and everything it continues to do for veterans and their families. Small towns still lead the way when it comes to honoring service and sacrifice.

We’re fired up to see everyone again this year—this is one of our favorite days with the community.

❤️ Flatwater Smokers – Thank You (A Little Delayed) ❤️

We’ve been a little quiet the past few days… just soaking it all in.

What happened last week was something we’ll never forget.

To everyone who came out to support our family — thank you.

The turnout, the support, the handshakes, the hugs… it meant more than we can put into words.

Because of you, we were able to serve over 1,200 meals. That’s not just a number — that’s a community and family showing up in a big way.

A huge thank you to 52 Taphouse for opening your doors and hosting us, to HQ for the support behind the scenes, and to every single volunteer who showed up, worked hard, and made this event happen. We couldn’t have done it without you.

During a tough time for our family, you all stepped in and reminded us exactly what this community is about. We are beyond grateful.

From the bottom of our hearts — thank you for supporting the kids and standing with us.

We truly love this community.

🍀Flatwater Smokers – St. Patrick’s Day Community Fundraiser🍀

This has been a very heavy week for our family with the passing of Jamie. The love, prayers, messages, and support from our community have been overwhelming in the best possible way. We truly live in an incredible place.

Many people have reached out asking how they can help support the kids during this time. I also want everyone to know that the kids are doing incredibly well considering everything — they are tough, strong, and healthy. We are taking things one day at a time as a family.

Because of the support people have asked how they can help, we are turning our St. Patrick’s Day event at 52 Taphouse in Minden into a fundraiser for them.

📍 52 Taphouse – Minden, Nebraska
📅 St. Patrick’s Day – March 17
⏰ 12:00 PM – 8:00 PM

All proceeds from the day will go directly toward the kids’ college fund and future needs to help support their success.

If you want to help, the best thing you can do is simply come eat, have a pint, and spend time with this amazing community.

Menu for the Day:
• Smoked Corned Beef & Cabbage (limited 200 lbs)
• Nebraska Prime Brisket Chopped
• Pulled Pork
• Artisan Nebraska Sausages
• Limited Quantity Ribs (Supper Only)
