Just love this!!!
There are some decisions you make with your head…and there are others you simply know are being placed on your heart
This one was placed on ours. ❤️
It’s official — the papers are signed, the keys are ours, and we are incredibly humbled to share that we are now leading Mercy’s Closet.
“Owners” doesn’t quite feel like the right word.
We feel more like caretakers of a mission that was started before us and has already touched so many lives in our community.
Mercy’s Closet has never been just a thrift store. It is a place where someone can find an affordable pair of shoes or a new outfit, yes—but it can also be a place where someone who has lost everything finds clothing without judgment. Where a family going through a difficult season can find a little help. Where neighbors take care of neighbors.
That matters to us.
As we begin this new chapter, there will be some changes, some new ideas, and hopefully a whole lot of fun along the way. But the heart of Mercy’s Closet will remain exactly where it belongs: serving people.
We want this little store to be a place of kindness, dignity, generosity, laughter, and faith. A place where every purchase helps make it possible to give to someone who needs a hand. A place where our community knows that when life gets hard, there are still people willing to show up.
We don't know exactly where this journey will take us, but we know how we want to walk it — with open hands, grateful hearts, and a willingness to serve.
To everyone who has supported Mercy’s Closet through the years, thank you. We hope you’ll continue this journey with us.
And to our community: come see us. Shop with us. Donate with us. Serve with us. Pray for us.
Most importantly, help us make sure that Mercy continues to be more than the name on the sign.
It’s our mission.
“Blessed are the merciful, for they will be shown mercy.” — Matthew 5:7
Here’s to a new chapter for Mercy’s Closet. 💙💛
