The Fever Dreams celebrate the release of their debut single "Going for Heaven." Originally billed as Ann Marie & The Fever Dreams, the group has shortened their moniker but not their sound. Serving up a soft indie rock sound, the group draws from classic rock, blues, and folk to bring listeners original songs of love, loss, and life. They are joined by local Americana staple Stallis Cowboys and Local Memory, an indie/alt-country band from Chicago.

Emerging pop singer/songwriter Bree Alexandra has turned her lifelong love of performing into a blossoming music career. Her 2025 debut single is tinged with a pop-punk feel while recent releases have expanded her sound.

Join us for a book presentation and community discussion with Dwayne “BIM” Staats, one of the revolutionaries connected to the Vaughn 17 case in Delaware. We will gather to listen to the book’s prologue, learn about the Vaughn 17 uprising, and engage in a live phone conversation and discussion with the author. The Vaughn 17 case emerged from the 2017 uprising at Vaughn Correctional Center and continues to raise urgent questions about incarceration, solitary confinement, and the conditions that led to collective resistance inside the prison system. This event centers incarcerated voices and invites reflection on the realities of imprisonment, systemic violence, and the importance of solidarity across prison walls and communities.

Four-piece alt-rock band Chapped Lips throw power pop, funk, blues, and punk into a blender for a sound that's all their own. Cincinnati-based Touchdown Jesus create self-described “progressive neanderthal rock” with a saxophone jazz infusion.

Joining them are Madison alt-rock duo Yolk and garage punk group Aergo.

Join us to hear from multidisciplinary artist and ITC 2026 artist-in-residence Lee Judilla/Midwest Cyborg.

In conversation with Caesar Nguyen (b. 2004, Houston, TX), EMT-B, a multidisciplinary artist investigating systems and part of the Milwaukee-based art collective, Barrel O’ Monkeys

The two will explore: the evolution of their art-making through community engagement, organizing, arts education, and the experience of the ITC residency; the importance of heritage, dreaming, fantasy, storytelling in arts practice; intersectionality between Asian identity + queerness + neurodivergence; approaching creative practice sustainably, healing from generational illusions, seeking wellness as a means of achieving an equitable future; and Lee’s storytelling/moving image event Salimbal, taking place at CC Sunday 8/23.
