The tuna's out the net: After a lifetime of memories (in restaurant years) Screaming Tuna Milwaukee & Screaming Tuna Mequon are under a new ownership & management team. One that will lead it into a more vibrant future built on intense & genuine passion, care, people & yes, kick-a** cocktails & fun too.

They hardly need an introduction but if you want to get to know our new fearless leaders better, be sure to check out the incomparable Lost Whale & Holey Mackerel (they've got a thing for sea creatures 🤷‍♂️.)

Cheers to the next 15 years & we wish old Jeff the best as he sails off to enjoy fatherhood. ❤

Happy Father’s Day to all the great Dads of course, but there’s one Padre in particular that this day really belongs to: Chef Luis, HAPPY 50TH BIRTHDAY!!! 🎉

If you’ve been rocking with Screaming Tuna since day one you’ve definitely had the pleasure of befriending this pillar of the company. His fast knife skills are only matched by his fast mouth🗣️ and we love him for it. A 25 year sushi veteran and devoted husband, father, coworker and friend. The best pain in the a** you could ever hope for. 👑

A letter from the editors,

This month, Screaming Tuna Milwaukee turned 15 years old. After a long winter that saw the closing of countless Milwaukee institutions, this milestone is particularly humbling for Jeff & I.

When I first moved to Milwaukee 16 years ago, just to help work on the Screaming Tuna construction site, I was a bright eyed, bushy tailed 22 year old boy, with no clue in the world. Now, a sleepy eyed, grey-haired 38 year old Dad, I still don’t have as many answers to life’s questions as I’d hoped, but I do know 1 thing: It’s all about PEOPLE. We wouldn’t have made it 15 months, much less 15 years, without the support of the wonderful people that have come through our lives. From diners who became friends, to coworkers who became family. Through the the good times (Anniversaries, a Bucks championship, BRUNZIES) & the bad (a pandemic, Brewers playoff losses), you were there for us & we can’t thank you enough.

Year 15 will be one of large scale change for Screaming Tuna. We’ll share more later this month. Until then, we invite you to celebrate the better part of 2 decades, & Star Wars Day, with us today Monday May 4th. All new food specials. Drink specials, including the 1 day revival of old favorites. Complimentary bubbly & sweet treats from our old friends & neighbors . Plus if we’re lucky, some nice riverside patio weather. 🤞🏽
