Pardon our delay today! As we tumble through the first week of the new year, there's always a few kinks to work out, I'm sure y'all can relate. Thank you for your patience!

We hope everyone had a rad holiday season, a proper festivus for the rest of us which we we're fortunate enough to have, giving us some time to recalibrate before starting another revolution around the sun through this existential phenomenon we call life.

If you're not the resolution type, we can at least promise a good resolution for hunger. We're going headfirst into the new year, who knows what shenanigans and chaos will ensue. Opportunity awaits!

Yesterday, we had the absolute pleasure of being involved in the Cassarole Call with several prominent mke restaurants to raise money for ! Why? Because far too many people have way too little food right now.

AND WE WON! So, that was neat too!

Thanks to everyone who participated with us, and thanks to all the beautiful faces who showed up to show support for their community!

Surprise! We're making an appearance at 3rd annual Casserole Call, hosted by , bringing our own flavor to a friendly competition for the title of Milwaukees best casserole. We'll be throwing down with a 'Birthday Chili & Cornbread Casserole'.

Why 'birthday chili', you ask?
A story from the owners themselves, Jake made a chili SOOOOO GOOD that Sherrilynn requested it for her birthday. You may not know this, but yes, that IS a big deal. Trust us.

If that alone doesn't sell you, just know that a portion of the proceeds will be going to to contribute to helping those in need. Feeding yourself to help feed others! It's a win win.

Things have been pretty quiet here in the channels of subspace, but fear not, for the fight continues! The greater Milwaukee area has had a rough go in the past couple of weeks, and sunnier days are finally here. The flood rains have taken some incredibly serious tolls, of both minor and immense proportions, us included. One thing is for sure, though: a community is only as strong as its sense of unity. Remember to look out for each other, and the universe shall smile upon you. It's tough out there, man!

TO OUR INCREDIBLY RAD PATRONS!

We will be CLOSED next week from Tuesday the 22nd to Thursday the 24th of this here month of July so that our beautiful, ass-kicking staff can take a much needed summer break for some serious R&R. This way we can return full-swing doing what we do best and continue bringing you the finest. Friday the 25th, expect the usual jam, we assure you!

We will still be closed Monday the 21st too, but you already knew that!
