🧶💛 Another Crochet Club Creation Finds a Beautiful Home 💛🧶

One of our handmade crochet bags, created by our wonderful Crochet Coach Elaine J. Pleasanton using macrame yarn generously donated by Amy Leigh Simonson found a beautiful new home today with Isabel.

Isabel loved hearing about what we’re building through the Milton Community Crochet Collective, and her generous donation is deeply appreciated.

Every dollar donated goes directly back to our nonprofit, helping us continue our mission of building community, fostering friendships, teaching new skills, supporting charitable causes, and creating opportunities for people to connect through creativity.

Thank you to Amy for donating the yarn, Elaine for sharing her talent and time, and Isabel for supporting our mission.

Moments like these remind us that we’re creating much more than crochet projects—we’re building a community. 💛🧶

💛 We Need Your Ideas! 💛

One of the greatest strengths of our Crochet Club is the amazing group of women who make it what it is. Every one of you brings unique experiences, talents, ideas, and dreams to our community.

As we continue to grow, learn, connect, and serve others, I would love to hear your thoughts.

🧶 How can we grow as a club?
🧶 What would you like to learn?
🧶 What activities, classes, or speakers would interest you?
🧶 How can we better support our members?
🧶 What community projects should we consider?
🧶 How can we help others?

If you have an idea—whether it’s brand new or something you’ve mentioned before that we haven’t acted on yet—please don’t let it disappear!

Simply write it down on a piece of paper, put your name on it, and drop it off at Milton Home Coffee Roastery. We will collect all ideas, review them at our meetings, and make sure every suggestion is heard and appreciated.

No idea is too small. Some of our best projects have started with a simple conversation.

Thank you for helping shape the future of the Milton Community Crochet Collective. I truly love hearing your ideas and learning from all of you. 💛🧶

As our Crochet Club continues to grow, we would like to introduce something new to our library gatherings. 💛🧶

From time to time, we hope to invite guest speakers for short 20–30 minute talks. These will be individuals with experience, knowledge, or special talents who can share ideas, inspiration, and practical information with our community.

Topics may include personal growth, wellness, creativity, organization, self-care, financial literacy, community service, entrepreneurship, caregiving, and many other subjects that help us learn, grow, and support one another.

We would love to hear from you! If there is a topic you would like to learn about, a skill you’d like to develop, something you’d like to better understand, or even a habit or challenge you’d like help overcoming, please let us know.

Your ideas will help shape these conversations, and we look forward to learning together as a community. 💛

Please feel free to share your suggestions with us!

Tonight we held our first official Board Meeting for the Milton Community Crochet Collective, Inc. 💛🧶

I want to sincerely thank everyone who joined, participated, shared ideas, and offered their support. Looking around the table, I was reminded how fortunate we are to have such caring, talented, and dedicated people helping guide this organization.

When this group first began, it was simply a few people gathering to crochet and spend time together. Today, we are building something much bigger — a community centered around friendship, creativity, education, service, and connection.

There are not enough words to express how grateful I am for each person who has helped us along the way. Every coach, volunteer, board member, supporter, and member has played a role in helping us grow into what we are today.

Thank you for believing in this vision, for sharing your time and talents, and for helping us build a welcoming community where everyone belongs.

I am excited about what lies ahead and proud of what we are creating together. The future of the Milton Community Crochet Collective is bright because of all of you. 💛

One stitch, one friendship, and one act of kindness at a time. 🧶

💛☕🧶

These adorable crochet paper clips are already a huge hit!

The beautiful coffee cup charms were generously donated by Silvia, the coffee cup sleeves were donated by Milton Home Coffee Roastery , and the lovely labels were designed and created by Tresa Leigh Bohon .

It is amazing to see so many people contributing their talents, creativity, and generosity to our crochet community. These little bookmarks are not only practical, but they also represent the friendships, teamwork, and kindness that make our club so special.

A heartfelt thank you to Silvia for the charms, Milton Home Coffee Roastery for the sleeves, and Tresa for her beautiful label design and presentation. Everyone is already loving them, and they have become a wonderful addition to our club! 💕☕🧶

💜📸 We are so incredibly proud of Amy!

Many of you know Amy as a dedicated coach, organizer, volunteer, jewelry maker, and one of the hearts behind our crochet community. But her talents and accomplishments reach far beyond that.

Amy Simonson, Ms. Wheelchair USA 2026, continues to inspire others through her creativity, determination, and passion for helping people. We are thrilled to see her at her own photography exhibition, sharing the beauty she captures through her lens with the world.

Amy constantly reminds us that challenges do not define us—our courage, kindness, and willingness to keep growing do. Whether she is supporting our members, advocating for others, creating beautiful artwork, or pursuing her dreams, she leads by example.

Congratulations, Amy!
We are honored to know you, grateful for all you do for our community, and excited to celebrate this wonderful achievement with you. Your creativity, leadership, and generous spirit inspire us all. ❤️📷

Come Join Us for the opening of Amy's first professional exhibition! This Thursday!!

What a wonderful day at the library! 💛🧶

Today was our first public event since becoming a nonprofit, and we couldn’t be more grateful for the warm welcome from our community.

We met wonderful new friends, connected with people who have been following our page, accepted donations, and even sold some of our handmade items. Most importantly, we spent time learning, creating, and connecting together.

A special thank you to Mrs. Patricia, Siobhan Robertson, Amy Leigh Simonson, and Tresa Leigh Bohon for helping with the setup and making the event such a success. Mrs. Patricia Lyons Wilcox also led a wonderful lesson on how to read a crochet pattern, and together we practiced making heart-shaped bookmarks.

The heart bookmark project was especially meaningful because each bookmark is made of two hearts connected together, reminding us that we are all connected through kindness, friendship, and community.

We would also like to extend our heartfelt thanks to the Milton Public Library for opening their doors to us and giving us this wonderful opportunity. Their support helps create a welcoming space where people can learn, connect, share skills, and build community together.

We are hoping to donate the bookmarks we make to the library as a small token of appreciation, either at our next event or sooner.

Thank you to everyone who stopped by, supported us, shared a smile, learned something new, or simply spent time with us today. This is exactly the kind of community we hoped to build when we started the Milton Community Crochet Collective Inc.

We can’t wait to see what we create together next. 💕
