Because of the weather we have missed the last two weeks. This weekend is much improved. I am anxious to see you. I made from scratch hamburger buns and will have pizza. Of course it's not a weekend without some hand cut Belgian fries.

We were at the Viking festival at Dragons Gate. I have a couple of things to say about that. First of all WOW what a great event. If you missed it I want you to know I had enough fun for both of us. Also learned stuff. I know now how Vikings got their tough reputation. The blacksmith was working with no shirt on. In case you don't know, if you get metal really good and hot, then start smacking it with a hammer, little hot bits start flying around. Take my word for it you have not partied till you have drunk beer out of a horn with the Vikings. So I bought myself a horn to drink beer out of. It even came with a stand to set it in just incase you get too liquored up to hold onto it. I forgot to ask if you could drink other stuff out of it, but then decided that would be wasted information. They didn't have cotton candy in Viking days, but todays little Vikings really enjoyed it from the booth next to us. One final comment there are things going on around you, take advantage

It was a great day at Dragons gate. Lots of folks dressed up. Kids had a good time. I especially had a good time and appreciated seeing each and everyone of you.
We sold lots of Pastees. Potato and cheese seem to be a favorite. Bangers and mash went over as well.
A special thanks to Adam and Jennifer for providing such an amazing place.
Adam was the big hairy guy walking around. I don't know if its true, but I heard that was not a costume he just hadn't had time to shower and comb his hair.
Looking forward to seeing you at the Viking festival here in a couple of weeks
