Hi everyone, sharing this directly rather than letting it turn into neighborhood rumor: we had a break-in at the restaurant yesterday. We’re not going to dwell on the details — nothing was taken that can’t be replaced, and no one was hurt, which is truly all that matters. Compared to that, property is just property. What we’re actually proud of: we had a wedding and an arangetram that we catered for yesterday, as promised. That’s what small businesses do — we absorb the hit and keep our commitments to the people counting on us. If anything, this was a reminder of how resilient we are becoming. We’re extremely proud of the team we’re building. On a happier note, our banana leaf meal is coming up this weekend at Saapaaduu, and we can’t wait to have you all in for it (www.saapaaduu.com/events). Thank you, as always, for being in our corner.
