Hi Melissa fans! Update on the site: it has been prepped for the new building! We are so excited to get a weather window to get the foundation in! In the meantime we have been working hard to clean and preserve the old buildings bricks to re-use on the new restaurant and unfortunately someone took about 50 of them from our site recently! Maybe they thought they were not wanted? So if anyone knows about this we would love them back with no questions asked. We will offer a gift card reward

We want to say a HUGE thank you to everyone who came out to support us for our last weekend open!

The last few days have consisted of moving everything out of the building, the tables and chairs, the kitchen equipment, the food, and all the little things that have accumulated over the last two and a half years.

Starting mid week, demolition will begin, with the crew carefully keeping the brick intact in order to use as much as we can in the new restaurant.

We will miss our tiny brick building full of history, character, and charm but we are excited to start fresh with a stunning new build capturing what everyone loved about the old space.

Keep an eye out for updates as the construction progresses. We will see you all in the spring!!

Melissa’s to Close Its Doors, and Reopen in a New, Stunning Building at the same location.

We are officially announcing the bittersweet closure of our current location and the highly anticipated opening of the new space.

After two and a half years of serving the community, Melissa’s will be bidding farewell to its original home. The popular spot, initially intended as a temporary pop-up, has become a cherished gathering place for locals.

We have dedicated many hours along with local architects to design the new space, which was inspired by the charm of this old building. It will feature a cozy atmosphere, an elegant 8-seat bar, and a warm, wood-burning fireplace. The new restaurant will also include intimate banquet seating, creating a comfortable and inviting dining experience.

Melissa’s invites our loyal guests and friends to come dine or stop by for the final days at the current location. The last day for dinner service in the old building is Saturday, Nov 30th.

Gift cards purchased in person between now and the 30th will be marked for VIP reservation status when the new restaurant opens in May. Any gift card purchased during our Black Friday sale will be honored in the new restaurant as well.

We are excited to start this new building and will keep you posted with updates and pictures along the way. Our team will be helping out at Good Earth during the build so stop in and see us!
