As a SONIC Drive-In restaurant General Manager, you are indeed a general leading your troops in a never-ending campaign to give America an infinitely more delicious food service experience. You will be involved in training and supporting drive-in restaurant employees, ensuring that food is delivered in a clean, safe and efficient manner and our customers have an excellent experience.

Job Purpose: Oversee all aspects of the location and grow the business while staying within Brand Standards.

Full-time

Duties:
- Understanding of the history and culture of the brand
- Willingness to take on the most effective role
- Meet and exceed sales goals
- Control expenses
- Ability to read and understand a P&L statement
- Oversight of all administrative and financial operations
- Execute sales strategies developed by the Brand
- Keep management and employee training current as it relates to Brand Standard
- Human Resource duties include: hiring, disciplining and employee counseling
- Must have full knowledge of all safety and health regulations per local municipalities, county
and state federal laws.
- Fully Capable of working all BOH & FOH positions
- Train and develop staff for future expansion
- Maintain the physical aspect of the store
- Greet and interact with guests
- Ensure safety and security to all guests and employees
- Have a full knowledge of the menu offerings
- Have a full understanding of the POS system
- Ensure that the store is maintaining proper brand standards
- Live within the Core Values and Brand promise
- Prefer SERVsafe certified

QUALIFICATIONS
- Previous restaurant management experience of 2-3 years

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS
- Lift up to 30 pounds unassisted
- Able to stand for long periods of time
