Milklörd 2026 - NOW AVAILABLE ONLINE

IN PERSON sales begin today when we open at Noon along with pickups, plus limited draft pours while they last!

Milklörd is our tribute to the art of boundary-pushing collaborations. This release proves that when you treat a polarizing spirit with some lager patience, you can create an entirely unexpected, conversation-starting experience.

Style: Malört Barrel-Aged Helles-Style Lager

Collaboration: Little Lager (St. Louis) & Carl
Jeppson Company (Chicago, IL)

Barrel-Aged: Cold-aged in Jeppson’s Malört barrels.

ABV: 4.8%

Tasting Notes: The initial sip delivers the smooth malt of our Munich-Style Helles, which seamlessly transitions into the unique character of the barrel.
Bright grapefruit and a touch of vanilla sweetness round out the mid-palate, completely stripping away the spirit’s aggressive bite while keeping its bold essence. The finish is soft, dry, and lingering.

What started as a wild idea with our friends at has officially earned a cult following!

Milklörd represents the ultimate boundary-pushing collaboration at Millpond, taking the clean, elegant foundation of our beautiful Helles-Style Lager and colliding it with the legendary, polarizing Chicago spirit

This year’s version rested in a vessel with a notorious history, a barrel fresh from our friends at Jeppson’s Malört.
For those brave enough to dive in during last year’s inaugural release, you discovered an entirely unexpected result. The intense herbal profile of Malört softens beautifully in the cold-aging process, yielding bright citrus and smooth wood notes.

Milklörd (2026) — 4.8%

500 Brews & Counting. đŸș

A double batch of Old Millstadt is always a marathon, but today is a monumental day on the brew deck.
When we mashed in the first batch at 6:30am this morning, it officially marked Brew #500 here at Millpond.

I even included a few photos here of our very first brew day.

There felt like no better way to mark the milestone than by double-batching our flagship Light Lager. Today also marks the 66th and 67th batches of Old Millstadt, the most we have brewed of any single beer.

Five hundred turns of the brewhouse is a lot of grain, a lot of late nights, and a whole lot of great beer shared with all of you.
We greatly appreciate your continued support!

We still have tickets left for our June tasting featuring a Three Year Vertical of Blood Oath!

Every batch of Blood Oath is the undertaking of one man, John Rempe, a student of both bourbon and science.‹‹This rare whiskey shall never again be made.
He has one goal in mind with each release, to seek out bourbons rare and wonderful, famous and forgotten, then bottle them in combinations previously unimagined for a lucky few.

This whiskey tasting will include the following cocktails and pours:
- Blood and Sand welcome cocktail
- Blood Oath Pact No. 10 (2024): Finished in Cabernet Franc and Merlot barrels (.5oz)
- Blood Oath Pact No. 11 (2025): Finished in Añejo Tequila barrels (.5oz)
- Blood Oath Pact No. 12 (2026): Finished first in Montepulciano and then in Sangiovese Italian red wine casks (.5oz).

School is out for summer!

Last week, before school was out of session, we presented MCS and St. James with this year’s checks from A Millpond Giving Place and the Millpine Derby.

Millpine Derby, held on February 15th, was our most successful yet, raising a grand total of $10,500 for local school food distribution programs.

Every penny of this $10,500 goes directly to Millstadt Consolidated School and St. James Catholic School. It covers breakfast, lunch, and weekend/summer food programs, ensuring that kids in our area have the fuel they need to learn and thrive!

We always love seeing the schools put these funds to good use for children in our community!
