The Delaware Seafood Festival isn’t just for seafood lovers -it’s a family-friendly event, and kids 12 & under get in FREE!

While we were hoping to have a few more Schellville attractions available for the kids this year, some exciting Christmas preparations are already underway. Here’s what families need to know:

🎉 The Kids Zone WILL BE OPEN with fun for the kids!

🎨 Face Painting by Ashley Jeanne will be there!

🌭 Kid-friendly food options will be available throughout the festival.

🚂 The train will NOT be running this year — Schellville is getting a BRAND-NEW train built for the Christmas season!

❄️ The sledding hill will be CLOSED while it undergoes renovations for Christmas at Schellville.

⛸️ The skating rink will NOT be open for skating during the festival. We’ll be filling the rink with some of our amazing artisan vendors instead! 🛍️

🏠 And those adorable little Schellville houses? They’ll remain CLOSED as Schellville saves that special Christmas magic for the holiday season! 🎄✨

Even though a few of the usual Schellville attractions won’t be available next weekend, KIDS ARE ABSOLUTELY WELCOME! There will still be plenty to see, eat, explore, and enjoy throughout the day.

Bring the kids, come hungry, enjoy the music, shop the vendors, visit the Kids Zone, and make a family day out of it!
