Our summer concert season continues this Thursday with Charlie and The CoolTones! 🎶

📅 Thursday, August 27
⏰ 6:00 p.m. – 8:00 p.m. Food sales begin at 5:30 p.m.
📍 John West Park, 32 West Avenue, Ocean View
🍦 Bonkey's Ice Cream & Snoballs Cart will be on-site, and Luv Thai food truck will be offering food sales (5:30pm)
🚙 Free parking at John West Park lots and overflow parking at the Ocean View Church of Christ lot on West Avenue, as well as Kim’s Interiors on Central Ave.

These family-friendly concerts are FREE and open to the public, so grab your lawn chairs or blankets and join your friends and neighbors for an evening of great music and community fun.

🍜 DRUNKEN NOODLES vs. DRUNKEN MAMA

We’ve had a few COMPLAINTS about our Drunken Mama because we use ramen noodles instead of the flat noodles many people are familiar with.

Here’s the thing: Drunken Noodles (Pad Kee Mao) have many variations in Thailand, including versions made with instant ramen-style noodles.

That’s exactly what inspired Luv Thai’s Drunken Mama. 🇹🇭

We chose ramen noodles because we wanted to bring you our own Thai street-style version — not simply copy the American-style Thai restaurant version many people in the U.S. are used to.

Please don’t assume our Thai food is wrong simply because it’s different from the American-style Thai food you’re used to.

Different does not mean wrong.

So please read the menu before ordering. If you’re expecting the flat-noodle version you’ve had elsewhere, our Drunken Mama may not be what you’re looking for — and that’s okay.

🇹🇭 Thai food has many versions. Thai street food has even more.
