ATTENTION BUCKEYE LAKE MEMBERS AND ALL THOSE BOATING ON THE LAKE SATURDAY:
🚤 BLYC Junior Regatta – Tomorrow!
Buckeye Lake Yacht Club
Buckeye Lake Boaters and Community:
Tomorrow, Saturday, May 30, Buckeye Lake Yacht Club will be hosting our annual Junior Regatta, featuring nearly 100 young sailors from across the region competing in Optimist, 420s, and Laser sail boats.
Please be alert for:
Increased sailboat traffic on the lake, especially near the Yacht club
Stationary racing buoys and
Support boats and coaches moving around the racing area
Race Course Awareness: Sailors will be actively racing throughout the day.
We appreciate everyone’s cooperation in giving our junior sailors plenty of room and exercising extra caution. Many of these kids are out on the water for the first time in a big regatta — let’s help them create great memories safely! 😊
Event Schedule Highlights:
Racing typically runs from morning through afternoon
Increased activity before and after races as boats launch and recover
This is a great day of youth sailing on Buckeye Lake — come out and cheer on the next generation of sailors if you’re on the water!
