Bothell Library is hosting RAINBOW READING HOUR April 6th!!!!! 🥰😍

I know I don’t need to explain the importance of having events like these so I will just say thank you to for supporting your communities.

To my knowledge the library is getting push back from the stupid homophobic bigots that we know run wild and free in our community. Please show the Bothell Library some support! We want events and spaces like these to thrive and flourish. I’ll see everyone April 6th!

2023 was filled with so many emotions! I can’t wait to share what I’m up to next. Life keeps changing RAPIDLY! It’s hard to keep up! I want to update you and then my path changes! 🤣

Heyyyyy Mixed Coffee Shop!!!! 👀

My first event outside of my store is a GO! Event is for ALL BLACK WOMEN ONLY.

To all my sistahs out there… I know you tired. Let’s hang out! Come join me at September 15th at 7pm for wine and company! Mrs. Nicole from has been SO gracious to keep her business open FOR US! We need a fun night out! We DESERVE a fun night out!

If you are NOT a Black woman, thank you for always supporting me and allowing this event to happen for us Black Women. Finding safe spaces for Black Women to gather and connect is a rarity. Being a Black woman can sometimes feel exhausting and often lonely as you find yourself constantly trying to prove we are not the ugly stereotypes. We are more than providers for our community. And we deserve a night with people who 100% completely understand.

More events are in motion that will be open to all :)

Hello everyone! I promise content is coming soon! I have so many fun ideas going on in my head that I can’t wait to put out.

Life Update: it’s officially been a month since my store closed and it’s been really hard. I will say I miss my store and my people so so sooo much. I think about all of you every single day and I take all the lessons I’ve learned from you and am actively putting those lessons to use. Along with being completely heartbroken I am finding out who I am without Mixed and I’m having SO MUCH FUN! I am so proud of my accomplishments and sacrifices but honestly, I’m so happy I have time for myself now. I am so happy I get to play Minecraft again and go to really fun events on the weekends and spend time with my family and not talk business.

Future plans: I originally wanted to change the name of this page since we won’t have a physical shop. WHATEVER PAST SAV! I decided to keep the name because I believe coffee shops are a place to gather, connect and learn from each other. Collectively I still believe we are Mixed Coffee Shop.

I will be hosting and planning a lot of fun community events with organizations and people who all believe in the same mission. We are stronger as one 💜

I cannot wait. Thank you all so much for continuing to show me and my family love and support.

You’re looking at a new manager for Island Blends Acai and Poke! The location I’m working at is JUST starting in Bellevue (address in comments). We serve poke, açaí bowls, smoothies and……… COFFEE (starting next week…. We’re getting our machine fixed)!

Coffee roasted by our favs at prepared by yours truly 🤪 I’m bringing our Mixedly ways with the good vibes and gooood ass coffee :)

We have a limited menu and hours as we’re just starting but please spread the word and come visit me!!!! I MISS ALL YOUR FACES!

You’ll find me here Monday-Friday 8am-3pm!

Mixed Family.

Thank you for today. Like I’ve said, the last two years were an honor. I can’t believe how successful my little shop was!! I cannot wait to continue to be a part of this community we’ve created in such a desperate time. Mixed was a dream come true!

Thank you to all of those who used my space as I intended. A space to connect, reflect, learn and be your whole true self without judgement. You all let me know that I did my job and I did it well. 💜

Thank you to all who became my family. When I posted a new special… y’all were there. When I posted about people spitting on us for requiring masks… y’all were there. When I posted about our events and to support our neighbors… y’all were there. Y’all showed up every time. I absolutely loved seeing you in the parking lot and getting your drinks ring up and made by the time you entered. Regulars = family.

Thank you to my bio family 🤪, Mami, Daddy, Miles, Aria and Julian. Love you so much. Thank you for indulging me and this journey I dragged us on. I’m so proud of us.

Thank you to my squad 〰️(that’s a vibration). The endless late night venting sessions, the crying, my hangryness, the laughter, the joy. You mean the world to me. I love y’all so much. Thank you.

Had our last Stitch Together at the store last night. I love this group so so so much. They’ve been coming in since day one. The only group that stuck the whole time.

My mom and I started this to get diversity in our knitting/fiber arts circles. I’m just so honored to have held this space for you all.

Thank you. 🥹🥹 I did drive away with tears in my eyes but I know we will continue meeting and sharing our awesome stories.

Before I convince you to buy this… dibs.

This piece by was waiting to get hung up but I was impatient and put it up. First I put it portrait wise and took a step back and saw the jelly fish on their side. I switched to horizontal and my eyes saw everything.

I love this painting. And I love .

I’m so honored to have met such incredible artists from this area. I am so lucky to have been able to showcase their art for the past two years.

The art on Mixed walls started off as a selfish task. FIND ARTISTS SO YOU DONT HAVE TO BUY ART 👀 but it turned out to draw in community - my main goal.

Being the owner of Mixed is something that I will always cherish. The past two years have enriched my life and shown me what is possible if you dream big enough - for that Mixed was a huge success. Thank you.
