The walls are coming down!

As I'm sure some of the Mill City locals have seen, the old exterior walls have started coming down, revealing some of the hard work that's been done so far, and bringing us that much closer to the finish line.

*Progress Update*
It's been a uniquely challenging couple of years - with the fire, supply chain issues, and more... We wanted to assure you all that we've met those challenges, and we still have every intention of opening an incredible location that our community can be proud of. Progress continues, and our new goal is to be ready for guests in 2023.

Work is complete on a new parking area directly across the street from the in-progress Mill House Restaurant & Hotel - complete with 5 new EV charging stations. We worked in conjunction with the city and Pacific Power to complete the project, and will be donating it to the city to fill the need for guests and city residents looking to enjoy everything that our area has to offer.

We're unbelievably fortunate to be able to say that the Mill House building survived the Santiam Canyon Fire - but we know that not everyone has been so fortunate. Our hearts go out to those in our community who have suffered tragic loss. We would encourage everyone to support one another, and we'll make it through this, together. Many thanks to the brave men and women serving and volunteering as first responders - stay safe out there, everyone.

A large vault can still be found inside of The Mill House - a remnant of the building's time as a bank. Current plans are to keep the vault in place, restoring it and keeping the door as a great focal piece and reminder of this building's history serving the community!

We'd also like to remind everyone that The Mill House building is currently an active construction area, so for the safety of everyone, we'd ask the public to please not attempt to enter the premises without express permission from the owners.

We'd like to formally kick off our efforts to keep everyone informed of our plans & progress, with a peek at some architectural renders!

From the rooftop dining area, guests will be able to enjoy dinner and drinks while taking in the fresh air and a view of the river. Unique hotel suites will occupy much of the 2nd floor, in addition to a larger venue/gathering space. The 1st floor will be the heart of the kitchen, primary restaurant seating, and the bar.

Additionally, there will be 3 separate first floor areas w/direct street access allocated to local retail businesses - let us know in the comments what kinds of retail shops you'd like to see!
