To our valuable customers,
We want to take the time to apologize and explain what happened and also what will happen going forward. We are really sorry for this bad and unfortunate experience. On January 8, we were ordered by the health department to temporarily close our restaurant because roaches was seen inside the restaurant and that’s the only reason why the inspector wanted us to temporarily close the restaurant. There are also a few other minor violations which was corrected on site and have nothing to do with the closing.
There are many rumors about why we were close, but most of them are false. It’s not because we were dirty or we sell cat meat or any other hateful and racist rumors. Many people also automatically connect roaches with dirtiness, which was not the case in this situation. On the report you can see only two spot was unclean and it was just sauces and flour that was spill. If the place was really dirty and nasty the report would say so. We work very hard to ensure that our food is clean and delicious. We deep clean our restaurant and equipment every night. We had complaints about long wait due to the process of cleaning, but we didn’t rush it. We took our time to do it right and make sure it’s clean.
In order to properly and safely terminate the roaches we have to dispose all the foods and remove all equipment from the restaurant. Luckily and unforgivable at the same time the roach infestation was not heavy and that’s why we were able to reopen in couple day. After the pest control done their job, we washed and cleaned everything multiple time to ensure that it’s safe and clean. While removing all the stuffs from the restaurant, we were able to identify the location and the source of where roaches were hiding and coming from. The roaches was carried in and hide inside cardboard boxes that we got from our supplier. We just want to point out the fact and not trying to put the blame on anyone. It’s our responsibility to check what come in to our restaurant and we make the mistake. Which we will be very careful in the future.
As to what will happen, we want to let the customers know that we will be really careful and make sure it will never happen again. We have hire professional pest control to service our restaurant once a week to make sure that they won’t come back. Also we will make sure improper food practice will be corrected. We will put extra effort in to getting the place more cleaner and making better food for our customers.
We are very sorry and grateful for those customers that believe and continue to eat at our restaurant. For the customers that we lost because of what happened we are really sorry. We hope that you will come back to us one day because we do value you and your business. Weather you decide to come back or not, we wish you well and keep enjoying Chinese food. We respect your choice and please stop disrespecting us by posting racist and hate comments.
