☕️The Cat is Out of the Bag...May Café is Coming Back!☕️

Hello, May Café family!

First, thank you , Milford! Thank you for sharing the news and for all the love and excitement about May Café reopening. Your response has been overwhelming and we are truly humbled by your support. It means more to us than you will ever know.

Many of you have asked what happened and why we closed.

Our original plans for the building and the business didn't work out the way we had hoped. After running May Café for 13 wonderful years, I realized my body was asking me to slow down. Working 60 -80 hours every week left very little time for my family, my health and life outside the café.

This past year, focusing on soups and catering gave me something I hadn't had in long time- a chance to breathe. I was able to spend more time with my family, take better care of myself, and even welcome a second puppy into our home. Most importantly, it gave me time to reflect on everything I loved about May Café and what could be improved if we ever had the opportunity to reopen.

And now.... the opportunity has come.

We are excited to announce that May Café is planning to reopen this September( our exact opening date will be announced soon).

The new May Café will have a slightly different concept. We will continue serving the great coffee and homemade quality you've come to expect, along with our famous soups and fresh sandwiches. Our goal is to simplify our menu so we can focus on consistency, quality, and giving every customer the best experience possible.

To everyone who has supported us over the years- THANK YOU! We can't wait to welcome you back through our doors, serve you again, and create many more memories together.
