There are so many words we wish we had to describe these people coming together to honor our late brother, DJ Belanger.

We all came from different spaces of DJ’s life, but wanted to do what he loved one last time for all of the people who would come support him - we hope we made you proud as we all made new relationships in your name to see the love everyone had for you.

We love you, DJ. You’re here forever because you’re with us forever 🖤

Well… we’re out of basically everything BUT restocking as much as we can and should be back up around 230!

Fresh baked bread, sandwiches and some sweets all to benefit the Belanger family through the loss of our brother DJ - for possibly the last time at this location.

Literally don't have words for how amazing the first day of this fundraiser for DJ's family went today!

You all came in RIGHT at 10 and sold us out (and we over prepped too!) in about 3 hours 😂

Thank you to everyone who came in today and especially those that made the trip and were more than happy to come back tomorrow - truly you all showed us how much DJ means to this community.

We're prepping HARD tonight to hopefully have enough product for what could be the final service at 75 Mont Vernon Street, known as Homegrown Kitchen, tomorrow starting at 10a until we run out!

Again, thank you all from the bottom of our hearts for coming in to support this family, and a HUGE special thank you to everyone volunteering to help us make this happen - you're all just on another level of amazing.

While DJ always loved Culture, his dream was to create his own brand in which carried the same traditions of creating fresh, scratch made locally sourced food that he loved making for everyone and doing in just a stand-out way.

The name for this concept was 'Homegrown Kitchen' - we thought it would be fitting that if this were to be the last service at this location, we would give you this experience as best we could, in his honor.

This is the menu for tomorrow & Saturday where we'll be open 10a-5p both days and we look SO forward to seeing you and helping support the family of our brother, DJ 🖤

With the amazing response we've seen from the 2-day fundraiser starting tomorrow, we are asking if anyone would be like to volunteer to help out Friday and/or Saturday 10a-5p for the fundraiser service any hours before or after are helpful too to help us break down and clean up as well!

We're just simply overwhelmed with the support and outreach we've received - this week has just been... heavy. You've all shown how much you loved DJ, and we know he's seeing all of this and joyed by everyone coming together like this.

Culture will be closed indefinitely with the passing of DJ.

At this time, we're all mourning the loss of a husband, father, son, friend and so many other roles he's been in the lives of everyone he met.

Being missed is an understatement, and we will have more details on the status of the business and how we are moving forward, after we do.
