🍞 Big News on the Bread Slicer Front! 🍞

Okay friends — we have a quick heads up AND some very exciting news. 🤍

Our trusty bread slicer has officially sliced its last loaf. 😄

Rest in peace little guy. You tried your best. 🫡

What this means for this Saturday:
⚠️ No pre-sliced bread this weekend — all loaves will be whole this week only. 😄🥖

But here is where it gets exciting… 👀

Our brand new slicer arrives Tuesday — and this is not just any slicer.

Our old one? Bottom of the barrel. Absolutely not built for crusty sourdough or the volume of bread we’ve been putting it through 🫣

The new one? 🔥

Built for serious bread. Can slice 30 to 50 loaves in just 10 minutes.
That is not a typo. 😄

We are so incredibly excited for this upgrade — it means faster prep, cleaner slices, and consistently perfect bread ready for your toaster, your sandwiches, and your Saturday morning table. 🤍

🤍 Happy Labor Day! 🤍

Today we are taking a moment to honor everyone who shows up every single day and puts in the work. 💪

The early risers. The late stayers. The ones who are tired and still reach for more. The ones who build things — businesses, families, communities — with nothing but grit and determination and love. 🌾

At Hopkins Homestead we have a deep appreciation for hard work right now. 😄

Because while Maria has been recovering from surgery, Randell and Gramps have been showing up every single day — baking, prepping, loading the car, running the booth, and keeping this little bakery alive and well.

THAT is what Labor Day is about. 🤍

Showing up. Doing the work. Even when it is hard. Even when it is early. Even when nobody is watching.

We see you, Randell. We see you, Gramps. And we are endlessly grateful. 💛

And this Labor Day weekend? The Hopkins household is doing exactly what this holiday was made for. 🏕️

We are camping! Our little girl and her big dog brother, Remy, are absolutely thriving in the great outdoors. 🐾🌲

There is nothing better than watching those two explore together. She runs. He follows. The whole world is an adventure when you are little, and your best friend has four legs. 😄🤍

To every hardworking person in our community — thank you for what you do every single day. You are the backbone of everything. 🌾

While Maria is still recovering from surgery, the boys are hard at work. 😄💪

Randell and Gramps have officially found their rhythm in the kitchen and honestly? We are not going to tell them how impressed we are because then they might expect a raise. Good thing they are only working for bread! 😉
