Hi everyone! I wanted to take a moment to introduce myself as I officially step into this new chapter at The Hotdog Caboose.
For those who don’t know me, my name is Ryan, but The Hotdog Caboose isn’t exactly new to me. I spent years working here alongside Carol, getting to know so many of our amazing customers and learning what makes this little caboose such a special part of the community.
For a little bit about me personally, I’ve always been someone who enjoys being involved in the community and bringing people together. Outside of the Caboose, much of my background has been in communications, social media, and working with local organizations, but owning my own business has been a goal of mine for a long time. When the opportunity came along to take everything I learned during my years here and make The Hotdog Caboose my own, it felt like the perfect fit. I know how much this place means to its regulars and to the community, and I’m excited to put everything I have into making sure it continues to be a place people are excited to visit for many years to come.
Carol built something truly unique here over the years, and I’m incredibly grateful for the opportunity to carry on what she started. Taking over The Hotdog Caboose isn’t about changing what people have come to know and love — it’s about honoring that legacy, keeping the traditions alive, and building on the foundation Carol worked so hard to create.
You’ll still find the same little caboose, the same familiar favorites, and the same welcoming atmosphere — along with some new ideas, specials, and additions that I’m excited to share with you along the way.
Most importantly, I want The Hotdog Caboose to continue being the kind of place where customers become familiar faces and familiar faces become friends.
Thank you to Carol for everything she has built, and thank you to everyone who has supported The Hotdog Caboose over the years. I’m incredibly excited for what’s ahead, and I hope you’ll all come along for the ride.
