You Really Can’t Make This Up!
The Great Muffin Heist 🧁🕵️♀️
Working in customer service means every day brings a new adventure, but today’s chapter really takes the cake (or, well... the muffin).

Chapter 1: A few weeks ago, a woman comes in right at closing and says she has zero money. Our manager, having a heart, gives her a muffin with a strict, "I will never do this ever again" warning. (We try to be nice, but you never know!)

Chapter 2 & 3: She strikes again! Catching different staff members off guard on different days when the manager isn't looking, she plays the same card and scores a free cupcake, and then another treat. The managers finally talk, connect the dots, and realize we've been played. The gig is up.

The Climax (Tonight): She returns. But this time... she’s in disguise. And by disguise, we mean a piece of clear-ish? plastic tucked under her glasses and over her face. Our manager, holding in a laugh, decides to wait on her. The masked mystery woman confidently demands a specific muffin from the tray. She goes to pay... and both of her cards decline. 💳🚫

The Resolution: Manager simply smiles and says, "OK, so you cannot have the muffin. Have a good day!”

The Plot Twist: The lady storms outside, removes her plastic disguise so she can be seen in her true form, and starts harassing our lovely customers outside for money! At this point, our manager had to go full bouncer-mode, chase her off the property, and ban her for good.

Moral of the story? Our muffins are apparently good enough to go undercover for! Shoutout to our awesome staff for handling the strange, hilarious, and unpredictable side of small business ownership like pros. 😂❤️ #😂❤
