Hi All,

I feel like NPR on pledge week. Sales has been down at Carol's in Middlebury. I can't figure out why. Maybe the long winter. It is down even more than last year when sales dropped 50k for the entire year. Maybe it's due to the removal of 14 parking spaces in a town that was in need of spaces to begin with. In any case we are on the verge of closing, again. Warmer weather will increase business in Middlebury and also in New Haven where we will open the Snack Bar. We already have a couple of private outdoor events scheduled for the Summer there. Business will jump soon. We just have to get there.

For those of you who have already given, thank you. You got us to this point. Just $5000 more and I'm sure we will survive and prosper. The community will continue to enjoy all the things Carol's offer, like a meeting space, a place for people to see old friends and meet new ones, a place for parents to drop off their kids and know they will be safe. Please send as much as you can and please reach out to others to do the same.

Spring is coming and with it increased business but we are still way behind in bills. If we don't pay them we can't receive the products to sell. Please help us get to Spring. Again, thanks to all who have contributed.
