Back to school for the three most beautiful, smartest, and CONFIDENT girls that make Gumbo de Ma Mère even possible! Lou and Clem are about to rock First Grade and Kindergarten. Then we have the one and only…their Mère and our Creole Queen…Principle Pavageau! Go be you. Go have your moment, girls.

We have some exciting things coming your way this month with a few pop up events and we are finalizing some label/packaging details. Soon, you may see some of your favorite local businesses selling our delicious dishes to take home for the upcoming Fall/Winter. More to come!

We had an absolute blast at our first Market in the Meadow Wayward Lane Brewing and set up along side our new friends Meg Despres. We will be back again next month on 9/20! We appreciate everyone who came out!

We are excited to be back Wayward Lane Brewing next Sunday with two delicious gumbos on deck and the best damn potato salad around. All of our produce is sourced locally from Barber's Farm and Meg Despres! Come see us 8/16/26!

Vintage 1950s Coopers Single Stitch Pocket Tee – Custom 1-of-1 NY Yankees - $75

Authentic 1950s blank pocket tee from Cooper’s, Inc. (heritage brand that eventually became Jockey). Vintage New York Yankees “Top Hat & Bat” patch was added to the front chest pocket, channeling the golden era of 1950s Bronx baseball.

Condition:
Good vintage condition and structural integrity. No major flaws. Shows a faint, light yellow patina near the lower front hem with a few tiny holes. Overall, great condition 70+ years later.

Happy Wednesday, y’all! We have been working hard on two new dishes that we are extremely excited to share with everyone this summer!

Between working our full-time jobs, traveling, and chasing around our girls, we are close to getting our website completed. By this fall, we plan to be ready to sell pre-packaged gumbo to go and start rolling out roadside “grab and go” dishes up on Huntersland!

We had a great day trip into Seattle from Vashon Island. Thank you for the great brewery recommendation! The b**r and experience at **r was incredible. Will definitely be coming back next year for our yearly trip here. Heading back home to New York tomorrow!
