Today was bittersweet for our family and staff. As we shut the doors after 3 great years on our own we reminisced on some of the best memories we've had over our 20yrs in the restaurant business in Middleburg. We have met so many wonderful people in our time and did our best to ensure the ones that came through our doors left feeling like family. Thank you Middleburg, thank you Clay County, and a huge thank you to our community, friends, and family for all of the love and support we've received over the years! God bless you all and have a safe and prosperous New Year! ✌️🖤

❤️💚 Hey Capio's family, we wanted to bring you the news that some of you have been hearing recently and let you all know that it is true. We will be closing our doors for good on December 26th. This decision did not come lightly for us, but a new chapter is being written for our family and it's time to turn the page onto something new.

When we opened Capio's Cafe 3yrs ago we knew we were crazy. Who opens a business in the middle of a pandemic, right?! But you all know that our family lives on the edge sometimes so we jumped right in 😅 We honestly didn't expect to make it like we did and we have been blown away by the love and support we've received over our 3yrs in our own restaurant and 19yrs total in the industry itself! You guys are the reason my dad and family were able to follow their dreams and make it a reality. Though we are following a different path now, we couldn't have done it without our amazing customers, especially the ones that have turned into family along the way.

The restaurant industry is unique in the way that we get to see so many of your families grow over the years. We've seen many kids born and watched them grow up, your parents and grandparents getting older, love being found, as well as loved ones being lost, but we have always been a family for you to have along the way. So thank you for being the family to us that we never knew we needed in Florida. When we moved from NY this was never what we imagined doing here, but we wouldn't have changed it because the amazing people we've met along the way gave us this beautiful journey that we will cherish for all the years to come.

So thank you Middleburg, thank you Clay County, thank you to all of the staff we have had over the years, and thank you Capio's family for some of the happiest and craziest years of our lives. We love you all and God Bless!! ❤️

We will be open regular hours for the remainder except this Saturday we will be closing at 1pm for our last company Christmas party. We will be open on Christmas eve, closed on Christmas day, and open for 1 last time on December 26th to go out with a bang! So stop on by and see us to enjoy some of your favorite meals one last time 🖤
