It is with heavy hearts that we express our deepest sympathies to our friends and fellow business family, the Pasalacqua family. Our connection has always gone far beyond business, we are family.
This loss is one that is felt deeply by so many, and there are simply no words that feel big enough in moments like this. The world has truly lost one of the good guys — someone whose impact, kindness, and presence reached far beyond what many will ever know.
Our thoughts, love, and support are with the entire Pasalacqua family and all those grieving during this incredibly difficult time. ❤️
Hi Friends, I have some sad news. I lost my best friend and father, Larry, on Friday morning, June 19th. It was a day I was hoping I would never see, and a day some of you have already had in your own lives.
The pain is like no other; it's something I'd call my father about for advice on a way to navigate. I always knew when this day came, it was going to be tough, but I never thought it was going to happen so unexpectedly like this.
Larry was always there for me. It didn't matter what the task, WE GOT IT DONE. We worked on house projects together, cars, trucks, and gardens, etc. The list goes on and on. He was truly a wealth of knowledge.
We also had lots of fun over the years, partied hard, busted balls, laughed a lot, and even had small arguments from time to time that you would only have with your best friend.
Although he never brewed a batch of beer, he was always there to support my journey 100% of the way. He helped me fill thousands of growlers in the early days, helped with all my beer gardens, and delivered beer for me. Then, at 69 years old, he was there with me constructing the brewery we have today, which took us one and a half years to renovate and build.
He was so proud to see what we have accomplished. I'm proud to say I did it all with my father.
To most of you, Larry was a great friend. He loved all of you so much. He got excited to catch up and have a beer with you, or even share a "Larry Story." We're gonna be ok, we're gonna figure this out someway, somehow.
Larry passed away in his sleep on Friday morning at 72 years old. Some say this is the best way we would all like to go. No pain. Quick. It seems good for the person, but leaves the rest of us here in tears, pain, and shock.
There won't be a wake, there won't be a funeral. We'll be having a celebration of life, a party, someday down the road. That's the way Larry always wanted it, and that's exactly what he'll get!
