Some recipes are simply too good not to share.

This week’s dessert special is Chef Sarah’s Key Lime Pie Cheesecake, inspired by a beloved family recipe passed down from her mom. We’ve taken those classic key lime pie flavors and transformed them into a rich, creamy cheesecake on a buttery graham cracker crust, then finished it with our house-made raspberry sauce.

Sweet, tangy, creamy, and just the right taste of summer in every bite.

Made with love, family tradition, and a whole lot of flavor. Stop in and treat yourself before it’s gone!

This week I want to highlight and recognize our May Above and Beyond staff member, Luke Dickenson. Luke has been with me since almost day one! It's hard to believe it's been 8 years. He's kind, helpful, hardworking and knows many positions within the company from catering, serving, bussing and now expo! Days go better when Luke's around and his team feels the same. Congratulations Luke, you are so deserving of this recognition!

Settler's Yard has now been up and going for a couple of weeks and we have been enjoying being a part of what is continually being built and added on to there. We have a great menu planned for this week and would love to see you out there if you want a little different experience than the restaurant.

Don't forget to mark your calendars for our Tap Takeover happening next week! We have teamed up with Science Project Brewing Company from Logansport to offer you a great selection of craft beer and we have a special food pairings menu that will be offered next week in addition to our regular menu and monthly specials.

Don’t forget that on Wednesdays we offer 25% off for our senior citizens through our lunch hours and our special for tonight is our Catfish Dinner!

Opening Day at Settlers Yard was great, the weather scared us, but it turned out to be a beautiful evening. We will have 3 different menus each week: Thursday, Friday and Saturday.. so bring your friends and enjoy some good ole fashion fun!

As many of you know, and some may not, we also do catering... which is my passion. It's a bit stressful for this ole gal to work the dinner shift at the restaurant, and why should I when I have an amazing Chef and a kitchen crew that is focused on making each meal the best it can be!? I just love helping people with events, weddings and other special occasions and getting to know the families so this is where my focus is headed more and more.

Our catering business has come from word of mouth for the last 8 years, and we figured it was time for that part to have its own website and social media. Those will be coming soon and we can't wait to share them with you all.

Lisa Franklin, who some of you may know from when she was serving for us, has been doing our social media for a bit and is now our new Director of Marketing and Catering. She will assist me in all the marketing and planning and we have a lot of exciting things in the works! So let us know what you are planning and how we can help!

Our soup of the week is Guinness Stout and Sausage, it's creamy and bold with a hint of heat.

We can't wait to see you all this week!
