Small incident at the stand today. A guy told us "I need this oily".. and then declared "You probably think I am the Greasy Strangler." Both of us were really confused and spooked by this guy. The stand won't be serving tomorrow.

We’re wishing our veterans a happy Veterans Day. If you’re one of those stolen-valor types that sports a USAA credit card because of your grandpa’s service, we don’t want to serve you today. Anyway, the stand is closed today and will reopen tomorrow when we resume hot dogs and Cokes service to our beloved veterans.

America is number 1 thanks to our Veterans. Veterans are our reason for being and we want to be sure you’re aware that the stand will be closed tomorrow for Memorial Day. We have no specials available next week, but be sure to stop by on Tuesday for a hot dog and Coke product.

The Kel and Matt Hot dog stand will not be serving this Thanksgiving, but we have a special planned for mon-wed of next week. It’s called the pay it forward Turkey special. It means if you buy one coke, we will serve you the coke and three turkey dogs that you’re expected to hand out to others with the instructions that they must return to the stand to buy a coke and then pass out their three hot dogs. We’ll be wearing masks.
