Our Farinata is an homage to the Italian region of ‘Liguria’ ✨
This golden flatbread, made simply with chickpea flour, water, and olive oil, was once the humble food of sailors who discovered that chickpeas could be transformed into a nourishing, hearty dish when baked in wood-fired ovens.
At Ironside Pizza, we honor that tradition whisking chickpea flour into a velvety batter, baking it until crisp on the outside and tender within. We serve it just as it should be: rustic and flavorful, paired with homemade ricotta, Prosciutto di Parma, olives, and a fresh salad. 🥗✨
