The Great Colonel Mike Carricarte passed away earlier this week. If you knew Mike you understood he was one of the greatest guys you would ever want to meet. He was a very kind man who helped this community in many ways. He was the kind of man that if he heard you were hurting and needed anything he’d go to the earth’s end to help you. I can personally say he was one of the greatest men I have ever had the pleasure of knowing. Mike, I will miss you and Arbetter’s will miss you. Rest in peace for eternity brother! My Dad Tried to Steal My Chili Cheese Fries

The problem with photographing food is everyone assumes you’re not eating it.

I grabbed an order of chili cheese fries from Arbetter’s Hot Dogs, and my dad immediately started plotting his move. He knows the routine: if I’m taking pictures, there’s a window of opportunity.

Bad news for him: these fries weren’t up for sharing.
