To our Magic 13 family,
First, thank you to everyone who joined us for Brazil vs. Morocco and the Prato live band event. The energy and support from the Brazilian community were incredible.
We want to acknowledge that we experienced some operational challenges during the event. Our Toast POS system had issues handling reservation deposits, which created complications when opening and closing checks and impacted the efficiency of our service. Unfortunately, this also affected some reservation tables. In addition, the kitchen was overwhelmed by the volume of food orders arriving at the same time from our full menu, and we experienced minor audio issues during the game broadcast.
We take these matters seriously and have already implemented improvements:
✅ More tables and seating have been added to better accommodate reservations and provide great viewing locations for the games.
✅ We are personally reviewing every deposit, transaction, and reservation issue to ensure that any necessary refunds or adjustments are processed fairly within the next few days.
✅ We are no longer requiring reservation deposits on a per-person basis. Our updated reservation system is designed to simplify the guest experience and improve efficiency for both our customers and staff.
✅ During peak rush periods, we will offer a streamlined menu featuring many of your favorite dishes to improve kitchen speed and consistency. We have also added more staff to improve food preparation and table service.
✅ We have upgraded our audio setup to provide the best possible sound experience for future matches and events.
We appreciate your understanding and patience as we continue to improve. We are committed to learning from every event and making each game day experience better than the last.
