ILS was honored to recently participate in Partners in Care Foundation 23rd Annual Tribute Dinner in Los Angeles. Partners aligns social care and health care to address the social determinants of health and equity disparities affecting diverse, under-served and vulnerable populations. We are proud to support this great organization and honor Johnese Spisso, President/CEO UCLA Hospital System and Associate Vice Chancellor, UCLA Health Sciences who received the 2023 Award for Vision & Excellence in Healthcare Leadership.

During the month of June, we celebrate the nearly 17 million Americans who have bravely and successfully battled cancer, to earn the designation SURVIVOR. Nationally recognized as Cancer Survivor Month, this is a great time for cancer survivors across the country to celebrate their milestones and recognize those who have supported them along the way. It is also an opportunity for those who have not been affected by cancer to learn and understand the challenges that accompany survivorship.

As comes to a close, it's a great time to think about ways we call all participate in Aging Unbound year-round:

- Embrace the opportunity to change. Find a new passion, go on an adventure, and push boundaries by not letting age define your limits.
- Explore the rewards of growing older. With age comes knowledge, which provides insight and confidence to understand and experience the world more deeply.
- Stay engaged in your community. Everyone benefits when everyone is connected and involved.
- Form relationships. Invest time with people to discover deeper connections with family, friends, and community members.

Older Americans are the pillars of our community, and we owe it to them to value their wisdom, celebrate their contributions, and champion their well-being.
