In 2018, Thomas and Jasmine Liu opened to redefine the traditional boba shop. Over the years, the pair went from reusing milk jugs and waking up at 3AM every weekend to finding their first store in BYOB A Boba Company in West Covina, CA.

A self-titled "not-so-Korean" restaurant in Koreatown, .la was founded by Chef , , and .son. Chef Min was born in Korea and brings over 7 years of culinary experience to Hanchic, which opened in September 2020.

Instead of competing with the traditional fare served in Koreatown, Chef Min was inspired to create a different take on Korean food. Hanchic's menu is a fusion of French and Italian techniques and Korean classics, such as bulgogi risotto and ragu tteokbokki.

was founded in 2015 by Alec Fernandez and Vicky Carballo as a pop-up to deliver uniquely flavored croquetas. A family business, Alec was inspired to team up with his aunt, Vicky, to create this concept. Its first permanent location opened in 2019.
