Hey! I’m Sammi — owner & head baker behind Misfit Cupcakes 🧁
I turn butter, sugar, and creativity into custom cakes, cupcakes, cookies, and sweet treats for every occasion.
I’m based in the heart of Miami Gardens, serving Dade & Broward, and I’m known for bold flavors, detailed sugar art, and desserts made with a whole lotta love 💕
A few fun facts about me:
🍰 I started out as a line cook in a hot kitchen. During my culinary internship, I discovered pastry… fell in love… got offered a job… and never looked back.
💙 If you remember me, it’s probably because of my hair. I’ve rocked some shade of blue for 15+ years — “Ms. Bleu” to my people 😉
🧁 My signature buttercream? I created that recipe during my last semester of college while working late shifts and baking treats for the employee kitchen. Fun times and lots of sugar 😂
😂 And fun fact: almost no one calls me Samantha. It’s Sam or Sammi for everyone — even my parents — except my best friend, who refuses to let it go 🧡
