π’ OFFICIAL STATEMENT β YAAKUZA OF MERRITT ISLAND
Yaakuza has been made aware of the recent delivery driver situation referenced in previous reports.
In order to prevent further escalation into what can only be described as "two grown adults almost losing their retirement plans over chicken teriyaki."
management held an emergency meeting late last night.
New measures now in effect include:
- Increased hot bag inspections
- Complimentary cold water for all drivers to reduce overall temperature levels
- All drivers are asked to park in designated parking spaces only
- No tactical parking directly in front of the restaurant
- No sprinting into the building like a legendary loot crate just spawned
Additionally, drivers are reminded to avoid:
- intense stare battles
- saying βbro Iβve been waiting longerβ
- refreshing the app with both hands
Yaakuza would like to thank everyone for remaining calm and professional during dinner rush.
Because at the end of the dayβ¦
it really is just chicken teriyaki. π±

DELIVERY OPERATIONS NOTICE β CITY OF MERRITT ISLAND
The City of Merritt Island would like to address a reported disturbance involving two DoorDash drivers allegedly fighting over a high-tip order in front of the Yakuza of Merritt Island.
At this time, officials believe the incident began when both drivers realized the order contained an unusually generous tip, immediately transforming a routine food pickup into a full territorial dispute.
This is expected when the payout exceeds $11.75.
CITY FINDINGS INCLUDE:
- two DoorDash drivers arriving at the same time
- one order with a tip large enough to affect local morale
- several witnesses pretending not to watch while absolutely watching
- one driver yelling βthatβs my orderβ with the confidence of a man who has already spent the money
- and a nearby Yakuza representative quietly observing what experts are now calling βthe lowest-stakes turf war in island historyβ
OFFICIAL CLARIFICATION:
The City would like to remind all delivery drivers that a good tip does not grant automatic combat rights.
It also does not authorize:
- parking diagonally
- sprinting through the restaurant
- threatening another driver with a hot bag
- yelling βI accepted it firstβ
- or escalating a chicken teriyaki order into an international crime drama
According to preliminary reports, the Yakuza declined to intervene, stating that even they have βstandards.β
RESIDENT GUIDANCE:
Residents are advised not to stand between a delivery driver and a $14 tip, especially during dinner rush, rain, or peak emotional instability.
Drivers are reminded to remain calm, confirm the name on the order, and avoid treating every good payout like a sacred artifact from the Temple of Dash.
ADDITIONAL MEASURES NOW IN EFFECT:
Due to the incident, the City will now be monitoring:
- tip-related aggression
- suspicious hot bag movements
- drivers refreshing the app with both hands
- restaurant lobbies turning into fight clubs
- and anyone whispering βthat order is mineβ while making direct eye contact
The Mayor remains optimistic.
Gator Chief Ivey confirms both drivers have been ordered to complete a de-escalation course titled βItβs Just Hibachi, Brother.β
