To all my Mississippi Boy supporters, especially the regulars who without fail placed the same order week after week.
After much thought, I’ve made the difficult decision to close this chapter of Mississippi Boy Southern Kitchen. This wasn’t easy. This restaurant has been my passion, my purpose, and my way of giving you a true taste of the South.
A brand with soul.
A kitchen with purpose.
Mississippi Boy Southern Kitchen was built on hustle, and heart. I opened Mississippi Boy with one mission — to serve real food with real flavor, the way it’s meant to be done to the working family.
You showed up and showed love. Every dinner, every catering order you helped turn a small dream into a name people recognized and respected. Though this chapter ends, the Mississippi Boy legacy lives on. I’m proud of what we built, proud of the impact we made, and proud of the flavor we brought to this city. Thank you for riding with me.
But what I’ll remember most isn’t the food — it's the head nods after you taste the food. The happy faces while you're placing your order.
Your support, your loyalty, your smiles, your stories, your trust.
You made this journey unforgettable. As I move forward into new opportunities, I carry every lesson, every memory, and every blessing with me. Mississippi Boy will always be a part of who I am. Thank you for letting me serve you.
This decision was by choice not by force. Now it's time to focus on family, friends and the future.

P.S. The week of June 8th will be our last time our doors will be open, but our menu is limited.
