Kicked off the season at the Blue Compass RV BBQ Bash this last weekend and it was exactly what we needed. Smoke, stress, good food, and getting to see a bunch of familiar faces while meeting some new BBQ people.
Friday night was a rad making our “Island Boy” Glizzy from , and Saturday was an absolute blast while having a few reminders that we have work to do!
Results:
🍗 Chicken, 18th (ouch)
🍖 Ribs, 6th
🐖 Pork, 3rd (First call on pork!)
🐄 Brisket, 13th
We will gladly take the ribs and pork calls, and we are going straight back to work on chicken. The cool thing is we have never gotten a call on our pork and finally did it! Practice, practice, practice, that’s all I can say!
