Northwoods friends!!!
What if your next night out came with delicious food AND a little friendly chaos? 😂🍴🍻

I’m dreaming up some food-and-fun nights with local establishments: they handle the drinks, I bring the food and entertainment! Tell me what you’d actually leave the couch for:

🍂 Grateful AF: Friendsgiving
A delicious feast followed by an adults-only card game with ridiculous Northwoods humor. Think deer camp, cabin weekends, and questionable pontoon decisions. Dinner included. Dignity optional 😂

🕵️ Supper & Suspects
Dinner and a murder mystery! Gather clues with your table, accuse your friends, and find out who’s suspiciously good at lying.

🍞 Sip & Focaccia
If you missed this one last year, here’s your chance! Decorate your own focaccia masterpiece to take home and bake—with a drink nearby for creative support.

💕 Partners in Dine
A “Who Knows You Best?” game for couples, best friends, and longtime partners. Together six months or forty years? Let’s see who’s been listening. 😂

Which one gets your vote—and who are you bringing?👇
Would you prefer a Sunday afternoon, a weeknight, or Saturday night?

Have a favorite local bar/establishment you’d love to see host one? Tell me! Let’s give ourselves something fun to do when it gets dark at approximately lunchtime. 😂🌲

Lucy & Jeff gave us the sweetest way to wrap up wedding season 🥰🤍

An enchanted garden of appetizers, a cozy dinner with pot roast and chicken saltimbocca, and a pie table full of “Love at First Slice.” Because sometimes happily ever after comes with a flaky crust 🥧😉

Thank you, Lucy & Jeff, for letting us bring a little Kitchen of The Woods magic to your day. Wishing you a lifetime of love, laughter, and always saving each other the last bite.

Our last wedding of the season… unless someone has a snowy little “I do” up their sleeve.
❄️✨ A beautiful winter wedding, warm comfort food, and a room full of your favorite people? I could be convinced to keep my apron on 😉

It’s National Taco Day! 🌮 I’m Mexican, so technically this is a work holiday. Unfortunately, my boss is also me, and she’s already asking what’s for dinner 😂

Our Street Taco & Fiesta Bar brings big flavor and a little fiesta to weddings, company parties, and family celebrations. Pick your favorite fillings, sides, and extras, and we’ll create a custom menu worthy of your occasion.

And yes, tacos can absolutely be wedding food. You’re marrying the love of your life—you should get to eat the other love of your life, too. 😉

Who’s planning a party that could use a little more taco? 🌮

Thank you, Hannah and Alex, for trusting us to be part of your wedding day! 💛 It meant so much to cook for you and your loved ones—and you know I couldn’t let the passed hors d’oeuvres show up without a little personality. 😂

The Wisconsin cheese curds got their own tiny county fair, complete with twinkle lights and a blue ribbon. Our glazed roasted root vegetable skewers arrived in an Enchanted Harvest Garden with a picket fence. And the bacon-wrapped little smokies went camping beside tiny glowing campfires. 🔥🌿🧀

Yes, the vegetables had landscaping and the smokies had accommodations. Apparently, “just put them on a tray” is not in my vocabulary. 🤣

Then came salmon, chicken, fettuccine, and all the delicious fixings—a meal made with love for a day filled with it.

Hannah and Alex, thank you for letting us bring a little whimsy to your celebration. Wishing you a lifetime of love, laughter, and really good food! And thank you to my wonderful crew for bringing my little food worlds to life, one passed tray at a time. 🥂💕

Proof that you do not need to have it all figured out when you start. You just need to start 😂

First photo:
“Everything is hot, everybody has food, we did it.”

Second photo:
“Wait. Nobody touch the table. The greenery is leaning weird.” 😂🌿

The funny part is, the food was always good. The heart was always there. The difference is what happens when you keep showing up long enough to develop your own style, your own systems, and approximately 500 extra things you now believe are “absolutely necessary” for a setup. 😅

People love quick results, but most things WORTH BUILDING do not happen that way.

Long-term consistency will beat short-term intensity EVERY SINGLE TIME.

You do a little.
You learn a little.
You get better.
You keep going.
And one day you put two pictures next to each other and think…

Well damn. Look what I did 😂🤎

So if you are in your “first photo” season right now, do not underestimate it.
That version of you is building the version you have not met yet 🥰

Also, fair warning: apparently personal growth comes with a lot more bins to unload. 😂

A Wedding in the Porcupine Mountains: Meghan & Austin

When Meghan and Austin contacted me about catering their wedding at the Porkies Ski Resort, I was excited before we even talked about the menu. The Upper Peninsula is one of my favorite places to be. The Porcupine Mountains, Lake Superior, and fall colors all in one wedding weekend? I felt lucky to be heading up there.

And somehow, the day kept getting more beautiful. From the tables set beneath those soaring windows to all the thoughtful details Meghan and Austin had chosen, every time I looked up from our work, something else made me stop and smile. The trees were beginning to show off, too, as if they knew there was a wedding 😉

We with beef tenderloin crostini topped with creamy horseradish, caramelized onions, and fresh herbs. For dinner, guests enjoyed chicken piccata with lemon-butter sauce and capers, cranberry wild rice, garlic herb potatoes, a maple-glazed vegetable medley, and our Field & Fork garden salad. Artisan bread and butter were served family-style, giving everyone one more reason to settle in around the table together.

I love seeing a menu come to life in a room full of people who are happy to be there. Meghan and Austin gave their guests such a lovely place to gather, and it was a joy for us to feed them.

Congratulations, Meghan and Austin. Thank you for inviting us to be part of your day. I’ll remember the food, the view, and that feeling of looking around and thinking: WOW!! We really get to be here 🤍

When I first stepped into catering just a few years ago, I looked at “the game” and decided I wanted to change it 💅

Back then, Everyone was impressed by rows of chafing dishes sitting in front of a gorgeous backdrop—but the backdrop was usually created by God and paid for by someone else😅
And all I could think was…where’s the food? Where’s the creativity? Where are the bells and whistles?
I knew I wanted to offer something different!

I wanted the food itself to be part of the experience. Beautiful displays. Interactive stations. Thoughtful details. Menus created around the people being celebrated. Those little moments that make guests stop, look and say, “Waiiiiit—what is that?”

So that’s what I built. That's what I continue to build and obsess over.. you should see what I'm obsessing over for this weekend 😉

Not just food placed in chafing dishes, but food with personality, intention and a little bit of magic ✨️ Because when you hire us, the meal shouldn’t disappear into the background.

It should be something people remember. 🤍

The #1 question we get: “What are your wedding packages?”

Let’s clear this up once and for all... WE DON’T HAVE PACKAGES 😂

Why? Because your wedding isn’t a package😉
Your menu should reflect YOUR favorite foods, YOUR story, YOUR style and the experience YOU want YOUR guests to remember. Some couples dream of an elegant buffet, others want interactive stations, nostalgic appetizers, family recipes or something completely unexpected.

No two couples are the same, so no two wedding menus should be either.

We don’t ask you to squeeze your celebration into Package A, B or C. I start with you and create something that belongs to your day alone. 🤍

A beautiful little look at Angeline & Phil’s wedding menu coming to life🤍

From the warm soup and salad welcome, to Marry Me Chicken, balsamic glazed pork loin, roasted potatoes and maple-glazed carrots, and then that GORGEOUS dessert table to finish it all off 😍

The cake and cupcakes were from The Sawbuck in Land O’ Lakes, and I had way too much fun dressing up the table around them✨

And I may or may not have snuck a cupcake 🤤🤤
