— About the Camp —
Vatthanatham Lao Foundation (VLF) is thrilled to welcome back Ajan Sengdeuane “Noh” Phengkeo from Luang Prabang, Laos, to teach the Lao traditional instruments at our third Lao Arts & Culture Summer Camp! The day camp runs Monday, July 28 – Friday, August 1 from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. each day.
Students will learn:
* Lao instruments
* Lao dance
* Lao cooking (Cooking with Nana)
* Lao traditions
* Painting and drawing
* much more...
The week culminates in a Saturday, August 2 recital where campers showcase their new skills—please plan to come cheer them on!
The camp is hosted at Merced Multicultural Arts Center - the MAC in Merced, California.
