Half our staff was out sick so Haley came in and helped me cook and made a very perfect Cornbread Cake—look at those layers of pepper jelly and blackberry jam, y’all. All while wearing vintage and making jokes so I wouldn’t get grumpy with my 13 hour day (I’m old). I truly couldn’t ask for a better business partner/best friend/platonic life partner. Also this cake is 😋.

She’s baaack. Banana pudding is maybe our most asked-for menu return, and as y’all know, we have a strong “the customer is always right” policy. 😉 Come get her while you can, summer fruit will be here before we know it and I can’t ever justify serving bananas when blackberries are casually overtaking every hiking trail.

Fog Eater is seven today! We put a yellow cake-chocolate frosting (the best?) birthday cake on the menu so we can all celebrate like 7 year olds. It’s made with yellow beets and cardamom though, and the sprinkles are candied fennel like at your favorite Indian restaurant. Come sing to us tonight and your cake is on us. Thanks to everyone who has kept this fever dream alive with us. We’re loving it (and each other) more than ever.

mungs bean crepes with herbs and vegan fish sauce, tofu in tomato sauce with pandan sticky rice,
banana spring roll for dessert. Pho-infused cocktails! Weird tea! 4 courses for $45, drinks and tip excluded. Seating is limited make your resy asap!
