The first time I made One Pot Orzo Bolognese, I told my family it was “fancy pasta.” They took one bite and immediately requested it again for the next three nights. Now I just call it “family-approved pasta” because let’s be real—who doesn’t love a one-pot, easy cleanup, cheesy dinner?
Servings: 4 | Prep Time: 10 minutes | Cook Time: 25 minutes | Difficulty: Easy
Ingredients
1 lb ground beef
½ cup diced onion
2 cloves garlic, minced
1 can (14.5 oz) diced tomatoes
1 cup beef broth
1 cup orzo pasta
½ teaspoon Italian seasoning
½ cup shredded Parmesan cheese
2 tablespoons chopped basil
Instructions
Brown the Beef – In a large skillet, cook ground beef with onion and garlic over medium heat until browned. Drain excess fat.
Add Tomatoes and Broth – Stir in diced tomatoes, beef broth, orzo, and Italian seasoning. Bring to a simmer.
Cook the Orzo – Cover and cook for 12-15 minutes, stirring occasionally, until orzo is tender.
Add Cheese – Stir in Parmesan cheese and let it melt.
Serve – Garnish with basil and enjoy.
