Fresh turmeric + ginger juice, black pepper, lemon, honey and a little cayenne.

Listen… this one got a KICK 😂🔥

I like making little drinks like this because I can control what’s going in it, and I’m always looking for ways to be more intentional with the things I consume.

Nothing fancy. Just real ingredients, some spice, and a little intention to start my morning.

I give my children autonomy when it comes to food. I’ve taught them to be intentional and make choices based on the knowledge I’ve provided, not fear or restriction.

Today my 11-year-old chose baked chips with no artificial colors or dyes… and Cheetos Flamin’ Hot. 😂

Do they make healthy choices often? Absolutely. But this summer, they definitely let their hair down and enjoyed a little more than usual. And that’s okay.

I’m always proud when I hear the WHY behind their food choices. That’s the goal, not perfection, but knowledge, balance, and being intentional. ❤️
